Cheryl D. Holmes Miller is recognized as a national leader of minority rights and advocacy in Graphic Design, Award winning Designer and founder of Cheryl D. Miller Design, Inc., New York, New York, and  Published Author, Cheryl has a Master of Science in Communications Design from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She is a former business owner; Cheryl D. Miller Design, Inc., New York where her agency serviced corporate communications to Fortune 500 clientele.

Cheryl is a design industry winner, of countless awards i.e. — Awards of Special Merit, Association of Graphic Arts; Best of Category, PIA Awards; Award of Excellence, PIA Awards; Graphic Excellence, Neenah Paper Awards; Certificate of Excellence, The Art Director’s Club of New Jersey; Various Awards of Excellence: Art Director’s Club Awards, Desi Awards, Peabody Awards, Crystal Awards- Business Women of the Year, Ceba Award, Broadcast Design Awards.

Dedicating her entire life to the Visual Arts, The Cheryl D. Miller Collection at Stanford University is the legacy and professional archive of research, writings, corporate communications of Cheryl D. Holmes Miller and including her memoir research and manuscripts. The collection features, Corporate Communications developed for Fortune 500 Corporations breaking ground in corporate iconography for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion initiatives and corporate sponsored corporate communications for African American and corporations developed after the Civil Rights Era 1974-1994.
